In recent years, along with the rapid development of the distributed generation technology, more and more distributed generators access distribution network system. With the access of distributed generators, the impact on operation and management of power systems is not to be overlooked. At the same time, it has brought new challenges to the traditional distribution network planning method. This makes the study appears to be meaningful. On the basis of literature and research results of experts and scholars both at home and abroad, this paper mainly studies on distribution network optimal planning including distributed generation. In the course of the study, from the economical angle, we set up the objective function with the minimizing of planning years operation cost. The study uses particle swarm algorithm and the coding strategies of random formation of the tree , making the whole process of evolution produced in solution are feasible solution, ensures that each plan to meet all of the distribution network with radial constraint. This study reduce the number of search and this method is simple, feasible. The numerical example shows that the access of distribution generation can optimize and rationalize the distribution optimization planning, which can optimize the distribution networks structure, reduce the capacity increasing degree of transition station, shorten the total length of wiring, and lower the loss of distribution networks, so that the annual operation cost can be reduce, as well as the economy can be raised. All of these also confirm the truth of the beneficial effect on the power system after the access of distribution generation, and establish the theoretical basis of development of distribution generation.
