This article focuses on researching the issue of Adaptation Planning Design of collegelandscape climate, this issue is based on the background of climate change research, which isagainst the phenomenon of low frequency usage of landscape space, part unused space andserious waste of resources due to uncomfortable climate environment in colleges at present. Theresearch of this article uses Landscape Architecture, architectural physics and relevant theories, from the perspective of improving the micro-climate environment of colleges and the actualdemand of human comfort of most users. This article adopts the research idea of Problem Understanding-Problem Recognition Problemsolving, it combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, with the usage of analysis of cases, computer software simulation, spot experiment and other research methods, it researches thefeasibility of climate adaptation design of college layout mode, building landscape, naturallandscape, ground landscape and facilities, in accordance with overall design—detailed design, aiming to seek the theory of Adaptation Planning Design which suit colleges landscape in hotsummer and cold winter region. Meanwhile, this article raises Climate Adaptation PlanningDesign methods which are based on "summer ventilation and winter windproof" and "summershade and winter sun", which is intended to create a green and comfortable campus environment.Simultaneously, it uses design strategies in the practice of landscape planning design of NanjingJinling Institute of Technology-Jiangning Campus in the hope of providing the theoretical basisand practical reference for colleges planning design which is based on Climate AdaptationDesign. This article is on the basis of the analysis of vast literature materials, computer softwaresimulation and spot test experiments by author. The final result is not the final design method, butthe overview of mode and method for Climate Adaptation Design, which is not taking a part forthe whole.
