There is rich rapid-grown resource of polar in our country, which has the biggest area ofpolar man-made forest. More than one hundred million cubic meter timber can be produced inour country. Now polar is only used in fitment and paper making in north of Jiangsu, whichdoes not use its value completely. The polar can create more economic benefit only if be usedas roof panel and floor panel of light wood frame construction, and it can enrich the kinds oftimber of light wood frame construction.As the world forest resources decrease, better qualityof large diameter timber becomes shorter and shorter, plywood grows slower and slower. Indeveloped countries, plywood production has decreased dramatically which shows negativegrowth. As the substitutes for wood and plywood, OSB has been taken more and more attention,and it is gradually applied in the construction industry, part of the OSB has replaced thestructural plywood. In long term, the OSB will replace the plywood in larger range.The feasibility of Yiyang OSB be used as roof panel and floor panel of light frameconstruction was tested and studied in this text. The bent test, which includes uniform loads,concentrated loads,impact loads, simulated the dry state and wet(wet/dry)state. According tothe results, we can see that the Yiyang roof panel and floor panel used for light frameconstruction with the standard thickness perform better than need of the standard. The stiffnessis modified to get the new computing formula of flexibility in this paper, which can be used tostudy other structure sheets.
