| system. The function of satellite flywheel is to control and adjust the attitude of satellite. In the process of satellite simulation and test, simulator is often used to test the satellite instead of real satellite equipment. But the existing satellite flywheel simulator can only simulate a specific flywheel characteristic. Therefore, this thesis discussed the basic principle of reconfigurable technology and method, and a reconfigurable flywheel simulator is provided based on FPGA reconfigurable technology. Multi-types flywheels and different fault states of one flywheel can be simulated on a single hardware circuit.This thesis analyzed the present situation of reconfigurable technology, satellite flywheel and flywheel simulator. Methods of dynamic reconfiguration based on Altera and Xilinx FPGA are discussed. Solving method of the flywheel mathematical model is provided. The flywheel mathematical model is solved in FPGA with floating point calculation. A design scheme is provided based on further research and analysis. Cyclone III FPGA is used as the main processor, and the reconfigurable function is implemented by use of remote system update. The hardware circuit of reconfigurable flywheel simulator is designed. The hardware circuit includes the flywheel simulator function circuit and reconfigurable functional circuit. The firmware is designed by Verilog HDL. The most important parts of firmware are reconfigurable control logic module and flywheel model calculation logic module. Finally, the test and analysis of the reconfigurable flywheel simulator are implemented. A test tool on PC is programmed by LabWindows/CVI in order to test and demonstration.The actual test results show that all the functions of the flywheel simulator can be finished by use of the reconfigurable flywheel simulator provided in this thesis. By triggering the reconfigurable function, different kinds of flywheel model or different fault condition of the flywheel model can be simulated. The simulator provided in this thesis has higher flywheel modle calculation precision compared with the simulator based on fix point DSP, and can meet the requirement of the satellite test better. |
