In the design process of the water source heat pump system, some problems always existed, such as the limited flow rate and so on. In order to solve these problems, it's necessary to improve the traditional design to meet the design requirements.When the design flow is limited and lower than the optimal flow rate, there are three ways to solve this problem, increasing the area of the water heat exchanger, increasing the flow rate of the intermediate and adding antifreeze. To some extent these three designs are able to meet the design requirements, but the same question of them is increasing investment and operating costs of the program. Investment and operating costs have relationship with the condensing temperature, evaporating temperature, the heat load of the program, the optimal flow rate of sewage, the actual design flow of sewage, waste water inlet temperature, intermediate water inlet temperature, water delivery pipe length, diameter and intermediate water distribution pipe length, diameter and so on.When using these three designs to meet the design requirements, there are little change in the overall design process, but compared with the optimal design the design parameters will change a lot, these parameters change to some extent will lead the investment and operating costs different from them in the optimal design, and under the same design flow rate the changes of the three investment and operating costs is also different.To sum up, with the actual given flow rate, thourgh comparing the investment and operating costs of the three design options, a form of the special flow ratio is found out. According to this form, it is a reference for the design of the water source heat pump system in the condition of the limited sewage flow rate.
