The upsurge of chasing on green power, led to people seeking for new green energy. After research and development the on land and sea wind power, in recent years, people turning their attention to high altitude, and put forward the concept of high-altitude wind power, which is use the high-altitude wind capture device driving generators to conduct electricity. This paper mainly studies the directly driven permanent magnet generator application in high-altitude wind powerFirst, directly driving permanent magnet generator and wind turbline were carried on the detailed analysis, according to the dynamic characteristics of every unit, established their math modeles; on the control system, the paper established control system model, and take on simulation research, through analysis the simulation results, verified the feasibility of the model and control strategy.Then, maximum power tracing algorithm of wind turbine generating system is studied. After compared existing maximum power tracking methods, climbing mountain search method are chosen and analyzed; According to traditional climbing mountain search method's inherent defects, improved algorithm were mentioned; Build simulation model to simulate the variable step climbing mountain search method and three-point comparison, the simulation results show that the modified algorithm enhances the stability of system, more suitable for high-altitude wind power systems control.Finally, analyzed the problems of yaw and untwisting that the high-altitude wind power in practical application, and put forward the wind direction detect method based on checking the tress discrepancy and analyzed it in theory; using existing high-altitude wind power experience, and compared with the traditional tower wind power, using the concept of capacity factor analysis the economy of high-altitude wind power in actual operation; Also prospected the futur of high-altitude wind power from the aspects of technology, economy and the difficulties.
