With the rapid development of electric power, how the power system can be more safe andreliable operation, has been become the focus of electricity field.Effective management of powergrids complex spatial resources by implementing power parameter real-time collection is the keypoint. The acquisition for Low-voltage power grid real-time data is an important component ofdistribution automation, especially for failure analysis, reasonable maintenance, and economicdispatch.Summarized the environmental character of low-voltage power grid and based on developmentof the low-voltage power grid failure in the monitoring technology have been studied deeply,which achieve the basic theory of system's data transmission by using the GPRS technology, sothe power acquisition unit and PC data processing unit have been designed systematically.In accordance with the discrete feature of distribution transformers in power grid, and therequirements of reliability and real-time performance on data transmission in power distributionmonitoring system,real-time monitoring system of energy parameters based on the communicationtechnology of GSM / GPRS is proposed. The acquisition terminal based on the dedicated energymeasurement chip ATT7022B and microcontroller chip AT89S52 has been anglicized, whichachieved the real-time collection of energy data. The communication of system can be achieved byGSM / GPRS. The reliability and real-time of the system have been proved by the simulation ofvoltage acquisition circuit and the communication test between GPRS and PC. The design can bemeet the needs of remote monitoring entirely by using configuration software and the PCfunctions which enable data reception, display, storage, and system alarm.
