Economic globalization and the accelerating process of regional economic integration make the container transportation one of the main transportation mode in the field of economic and trade among countries. In order to improve the port's competitiveness in international markets, countries and regions are active in the expansion of existing ports and modifications to improve the port's throughput and utilization. As an important part of the port, the safe and efficient utilization of the container yard will play a role in promoting the port. Especially now, as the demand for chemical raw materials and chemical products in the international market increased year by year, the dangerous goods position in the container yard can not be underestimated, and the research on the management of container yard of dangerous goods will provide theoretical and practical significance for modern container yard management. This dissertation reviews the existing research of the management of container yard, and proposes research on the management of dangerous goods containers. First of all, it introduces the basic knowledge of dangerous goods, and describes the logistics of the world's development trend and the existing problems of dangerous goods and logistics development of dangerous goods in China currently; Secondly, it studies the management of dangerous goods from a security point. According to the process of container yard operations of dangerous goods container type, weight, order entry and port of destination, it sets up optimization model under uncertain conditions and the heuristic algorithm. And it conducts empirical research at last. This model derived from research results has a very important theoretical and practical significances in improving the dangerous goods container yard's efficiency, safety management, and increasing profits and enhancing the port of dangerous goods in terms of market competitiveness.
