With the rapid development of the world economy, maritime transport that is the main transport of cargo transportation is very prosperous. Now, the ability to improve the container terminal operators has become a major research topicFor the storage yard management optimization problem in maritime container terminals, this paper studies the storage space allocation problem and yard crane (YC) deployment under the influence of yard truck deployment. The integrated problem is formulated as an integer linear programming model with the objective of minimizing the yard crane, the yard truck operating cost and the yard crane inter block movement cost. In condition of the constraint of the transportation network’s tolerance capacity in the storage yard, to avoid traffic congestion caused by the scheduling scheme, so it can improve operating efficiency of maritime container terminals. A divide-and-conquer solution is adopted to solve the problem. The harmony search algorithm and constraint satisfaction search are designed in this paper.Numerical experiments verify the validity of the model, although the integration and optimization problems in maritime container terminals increase the complexity of the problem, but they consider the impact between the sub-problems, this can be more closer to the actual situation of container terminal.
