With China's urbanization process of large-scale propulsion, various types of buildings are constructed unceasingly, and different types of construction engineering problems occur occasionally. A lot of practice shows that construction engineering design directly affects construction quality, construction schedule, construction safety and construction cost, etc. However, from the domestic and foreign literature study, construction engineering design risk assessment research is still rare. According to the enterprise interview and questionnaire investigation, risk management of construction engineering design is often ignored. Given that the theory research is in the process of constant improvement, this study chooses risk assessment of construction engineering design as the research subject. Based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign relevant research, this research adopts interview, questionnaire investigation, instatistical analysis and comparison method to analyse the following several aspects of the problem:Firstly, the basic theory of risk assessment is analyzed, including the risk assessment purpose, principles and basic steps, the recognition of risk and the risk assessment methods are analyzed and determined.Secondly, through the literature research and survey of empirical research, this study finds out the influence factors of construction engineering design risk. And by validity analysis, 33 construction engineering design risk factors are figured out.Thirdly, on the basis of questionnaire survey, 8 public risk factors are extracted through factor analysis, and based on the risk factors, the construction engineering design risk assessment index system is established. Besides, the construction engineering design risk assessment function is also figured out through risk factor analysis method.Fourthly, the construction engineering design risk assessment index system of three dimensional structure is constructed based on the categories of the risk, the time of the main design work and the share dimension. On the basis of the fuzzy analytic network process method, the construction engineering design risk assessment is studied multidimensionally, including the size of loss caused by risk, the occurrence probability of risk, the predictability of risk and the control of risk.Fifthly, in order to finish construction engineering design risk assessment work preferably, the guarantee measures of construction engineering design risk assessment are studied from the aspect of organizational measures, training measures, contract measures, technical measures and economic incentive measures.To sum up, through the research of construction engineering design risk assessment, 33 risk factors are figured out, 8 public risk factors are extracted, risk assessment index system of three dimensional structure is constructed and the fuzzy analytic network process model of risk assessment is established, and the five guarantee measures of construction engineering design risk assessment are put forward.
