Preliminary Investigation Of The Safety Design Of City Streets Environment

As the most important part of the city public space,the city streets is the basic carrier in people's daily life and work.More and more citizens choose to congregate,communicate and take part in recreation around the streets.Along with the speeding up of our country's urbanization,the hidden danger in city street environment is increasing when the streets is crowded with more and more vehicles and people,So the traffic shunt should draw people's attention;when our life is improving, we should also focus on the safety of the city public space and facilities; the landscape designer should also remove the hidden danger as trying to meet the beauty demand. Abraham H. Maslow made a good elaboration on the improtance of the safety needs for human life , so more attention should be paid in streets' environment design , and fandamentally speaking, the safety problem of city streets environment is the important guarantee of social harmomy and long-term peace.This paper mostly makes a analysis on the present hidden danger happened usually in city streets environment,and explore the corresponding theory and countermeasure. Beginning with current stage of the city streets landscape,the article works on the hidden danger existing in environment with people and vehicles.Based on doing analysis and study research on comparing theory and practise both at home and abroad, this paper works on security design analysis for the whole city streets structure,city domestic design and fully accessible design, bring forward proper resolvent and main point.It is promoted that design should conclude more humanity,and be reconsidered for safety,so as to creative safe,comfortable and proper preventive streets landscape for different crowds' needs.At the last of the paper, the case of the design of Wuhan Streets is raised to fully expatiate the analysis result.
