Research On Sharing Of Urban Street Environment Facilities

In recent years,the concept of sharing has obviously affected people’s lives in cities,and has promoted rapid changes in urban functions,such as improving the utilization of public space,saving resources and reducing costs,promoting the equalization of resource serving,solving the last mile of the city by sharing bicycles and so on.As can be seen,the development of the concept of sharing will have a far-reaching influence on cities from many aspects,including lifestyle,economic,social governance,urban spatial structure and so on.As one of the main places of social life,urban streets have a great importance in enhancing urban quality,developing urban economy,improving urban environment and promoting public health.Therefore,urban streets should be designed with elements adapting to the development of the city and strategies with pertinency and adaptability.However,due to the unbalanced distribution of the right of way among pedestrians and vehicles,urban streets in cities of our country are usually unreasonably occupied by motor vehicles most of the time,which leads to the limitation on the space of non-motor vehicle lanes and sidewalks and the development of environmental facilities.To solve the above problem,the concept of sharing on street environment facilities is proposed in this research.Based on the existing problems and development trend of Harbin streets,strategies of sharing street environment facilities are proposed and developed with the aim of improving the quality of street life,integrating business activities,promoting the integration of streets and blocks and fulfilling the demand of connection between home,schools and working places.Firstly,the concept of shared utilization of street facilities is presented and discussed,and the research direction and relative concepts are presented.The basic theory of urban streets,street environment facilities and the shared utilization of facilities are discussed and endowed with guiding significance in this paper.The connotation,classification and elements of street environmental facilities are analyzed systematically.The background,development process,status and role,related planning and related case analysis are summarized to put forward the advantages and modes of the shared utilization of facilities.Secondly,the object of sharing is discussed and analyzed,taking Harbin as an example.Based on the analysis of the historical evolution of street environment and urban street texture of Harbin,the basic results of the survey are given and the problems of street environment facilities and the factors influencing the shared utilization of facilities are discussed from the aspects of living,commerce,comprehensiveness and connection,which leads to the evaluation and analysis of the needs of citizens.At last,the way of sharing is proposed.According to the above research results,the objectives and principles of sharing and utilizing environmental facilities in Harbin streets are put forward and strategies of sharing street environment facilities and suggestions of management are proposed from the aspects of living,commerce,comprehensiveness and connection.
