The Study On The Planning Of Urban Blocks In The Green-scale

Since its figure feature and function quality remains close connection with the whole city, the block, as an important part of the city, can attract more opportunities of employment, business, and tourism, and create comfortable living surroundings. Thus it becomes one of the most positive elements in the integration and development of the city, especially for the central ones.However, the present expanding mode, which engages in creating large blocks and even super ones, limits the development of the city seriously. And it generates a lot of problems, such as traffic jams and construction disorders, etc. Meanwhile, the large blocks with solo function, which has been constructed in the development areas, increases the speed of this consumptive mode, and induces an insufficient mode of the city development. Moreover, it would break the image of the city if the mode were continued.With the tendency of building economic societies, the promotion of the internal increasing rate of the land usage and the recovery of the colorful city lives becomes very urgent. Therefore, taking city blocks as the object, summarizing the recent problems in block constructions and relative studies in the internal and external, this thesis puts forward the methods of green-scale planning which has superiorities in saving land, reducing traffic and promoting vitality. At the same time, it studies the construction principles and strategies.This essay's main content includes four parts : the first part defines relative concepts and studies relative theory in internal and external , moreover , reviews the development of city block scale , and concludes and analyses the differences between the internal and external in the development of block scale . The second part points to the current condition of our country's block planning , reveals the problem of continuing increasing of city block scale in two and three dimensions , brings about the green scale block planning mode by considering the condition and development strategy of our country. The third part studies the theory of green scale block and discovers its connotation and advantage and the principle of planning and actualizing in concrete operation and brings about the planning goal and tactic from the aspects of land use , traffic organization and space environment . The fourth part is based on more concrete researches , and studies two classic blocks in center district of Wu Han city to discover the different feature between the two blocks from the aspects of block land use, traffic organization, environment construction and the internal reasons ,and reveals which figure feature is better in green scale , and brings about the feasibility and reality of the development of green scale block .The essay hopes to explore how to use land and organize traffic in the blocks to satisfy the intensivism and compact development of city land through the study of green scale block, and explores a feasible approach to optimize the layout of city's functional space , and improve the vitality of city space and promote city's sustainable development .
