The test bench plays a vital role, while conducting the performance test of anechoic chamber. According to the actual needs of project, this paper designs and analysises the test bench and control system. This testing bench which can collect electromagnetic signals form three channels has an effective working scope of stereo space for in horizontal lateral (X direction) movement 3m, longitudinal (Y direction) movement 3m and in vertical direction (Z direction) movement of 6m.Trying to reduce the impact of the reflection brings to the space distribution of electromagnetic signals, the main materials of the testing bench consist of light but strong MC nylon and laminated epoxy glass plate. The bench's motion in the track of all directions is through the meshing of gear rack and the gear on the bench rotation axis, and a stepping motor gives the gear on the bench rotation axis the driving forces through a gear reducer. Each part of the bench is designed according to the relevant technical standards, but in order to guarantee safety, this paper uses the finite element method to analysis the strength of some key components of the bench ,which provides further evidence to the reliability of the system.Based on the above work, completed the design and manufacture of the system. When completing the design and manufacturing of the testing bench, at the same time, based on the hardware of NI data acquisition card, combining the LABVIEW graphical user interface, this paper develops a control and measurement software, which can automatically accomplish signal acquisition, data processing, curve fitting, graphical display function, and it can also automatically generate test report.
