In order to meet the needs of economic construction and development, Chineseelectrification railway enterprise develops rapidly. An main factor to restrict thedevelopment of electrified railway is the quality of pantograph-catenaries couplingsystem. Research shows: the current-receiving quality can be improved bydouble-pantograph-catenaries coupling system although it is worse at overlappingsection. So the research on the quality of collecting electricity of thedouble-pantograph-catenaries coupling system especially the overlapping section aremore important. The main work is as follows:1. The FEM model of double-pantograph-catenaries coupling system isestablished based on software ANSYS. The quality of collecting electricity of theoverlapping section and the discipline of interaction between leading and trailingpantograph are studied. The influence parameters of elastic chainpantograph-catenaries coupling system's on the quality of collecting electricity areanalyzed by single variable method.2. In order to consider the influence of exciting force from outside, an externalexcitation is simplified as continuous displacement load and applied on the FEMmodel of double-pantograph-catenaries coupling system.3. The quality of collecting electricity of the overlapping section under theexciting forces from outside is analyzed. The influence of different parameters of theexternal excitation on the quality of collecting electricity is studied. Measures toreduce the external excitation influence on the quality of collecting electricity is putforward.
