Distributed generators and micro-grid as an important part of smartgrid is growing its important role in many aspects, such as energycomprehensive utilization, gird self-healing and disaster recovery.First of all, this paper analyzed the background and present situation ofthe development of the smart grid, briefly explained the main components ofDGs and micro-gird.Citing wind power, solar power and energy storagesystem as Examples and Combining with the Actual data in projects, thecomposition and technical features of DGs was analyzed.On this basis, the role of DG in smart grid and the distributioncharacteristics of DG was was analyzed. then, this paper described the gridself-healing method based on DGs in aspects of fast simulation and decision,coordination and control, and integrating of distributed energy. Method ofdistribution network self-healing based on the wide-area CPES sencingsystem was Introduced, after analyzing the features of distribution networkincluding of micro-grid.Source model of black-out start with micro-grid was researched. Thefeasibility of grid recovery strategies with micro-grid was analyzed. Theprinciples and Processes of small network dividing based on recovery withmicro-grid and approach of recovery path optimization of black-out start with micro-grid were proposed.After describing significance of DGs Localization and capacityplanning,this paper proposed the factors we should take into account onDGs Localization and capacity planning,and gived the optimal goal of DGsLocalization and capacity planning based on further detailed analysis.At last,Implementation of power flow calculation based on Radial gridand an improved forward-backward sweep method and Method of DGsLocalization and capacity planning based on adaptive genetic algorithm wasProposed, providing reference for reasonable planning and construction ofDGs,improving the advantages of micro-grid in smart grid, reducing thenegative impacts of DGs connected to the power grid and raising theutilization rate of DEs.
