Three States Isomorphism

Yuanyang Hani minority has a colorful village culture, which accumulated abundant national historical value and natural aesthetic value. Hani is one of the most distinctive minorities in terms of national village culture in Yunan province, and also an organic part in World Heritage declaration, which make it have special research value. Hani villages have been through long-term development and practical process. Its preeminent village culture and outstanding terrace ecological system culture has already become the cultural carrier.Nevertheless, in recent years, Yuanyang Hani villages and national characteristics it bears are vanishing apace due to rapid development in economy and tourism shock, affected by plenty of factors such as "ideal and reality", "urbanization and localization" "commercialization and nationalism", "update and protection" and the allure from modern life style and the constructive destruction in traditional material space (e.g. new rural construction). Terrace culture now are facing survival crisis:people abandon "crop" and grow "banana", hollow village and pursuing a strategy of quick success and instant benefit in tourism exploitation are now devouring national cultural transmission and development. Digging into the eco-concept the villages built and unique protection, development and update pattern towards tourism development structure need to be put into action straightaway.This thesis regarded Yuanyang Qingkou, Bada in Yunnan province and Hani villages around as main subject, applying some relevant science study field such as urban planning, Landscape Resource, Landscape Ecology and Ethnology. Historically, we conduct a vertical study towards the forming history of Hani eco-concept; in terms of local geography and natural environment, we initiate a level comparison study towards the manifestation of Hani eco-concept. Researching Hani villages needs to be on the ground of natural Hani site. corresponding with natural planning structure, simulating the natural space shape, abiding by the natural facilities and equipments, imitating natural decorating articles, thus study the eco-concept embedded in the village construction.Exploring Yuanyang Hani villages needs the culture spirit of respecting, conforming and transforming the nature, i.e. three states isomorphism (ecology, form and philology). Protect the diversity, original authenticity, ecology of the Yuanyang Hani villages. Draw out the cultural quintessence of harmonious development between human beings and the nature, and amicable relationship between mankind implied in Hani villages construction, this kind of spirit is exactly what the 21st century people pursue, so that it can enrich modern environmental design and provide theoretical basis for our new rural construction. In the end, we should air our own opinions towards the protection and update of Yuanyang Hani village.
