The Research Of Protecting And Developing Traditional Villages In Digang Village,Huzhou City,in The View Of Beauty And Living

Traditional village, one of roots of Chinese traditional culture, inherits history, wisdom, quintessence of art and regional features of Chinese Ethnic Peoples. Since 2012, traditional village protection and development expert commission has been set up by MOHURD (Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of People’s Republic of China). It has identified and announced 2555 traditional villages around the whole China. It marks the work about traditional village has been paid attention to more and more and the protection for traditional villages comes into key work. In the meantime, it has come into rapid access to setting up the beautiful and livable villages all over China. This paper aims at combining these two items, willing to protect and develop traditional villages well.According to the background of traditional villages protecting, in this paper the author concludes that destruction caused by development is the main problem and comes up with a systematical solution based on the experience of traditional villages protecting in Zhejiang Province:building livable and beautiful villages focusing on the natural landscape and context, improving the construction of social infrastructure and public service facility, enhancing environmental renovation, making rational use of the cultural heritage and avoiding over-construction. In the end of the paper, the author takes the Village of Digang as an example to show the importance and feasibility of building livable and beautiful villages in the protection of traditional villages.There are six chapters in this paper.Chapter 1, the background, sense and content about this research is debated.Chapter 2, it is introduced about the theory of beautiful and livable villages and protection of traditional villages. Additionally, the experience of protection of traditional villages in Zhejiang province is mentioned.Chapter 3, we mainly analyze the reason and key point of protection of traditional villages in the view of beauty and live.Chapter 4, study the value of traditional villages at digang village, huzhou city for providing cases for later similar work.Chapter 5, provide strategies for that traditional village by studying digang village.Chapter6, it is summarized that the proteciton and development of traditional villages is a long-term work and there are still many things to be solved and improved.
