For modern large-span spatial structures, a construction scheme has a direct influence on stress status of to the finished structure. With the 2008 Olympic Games and the world expo in 2010, a lot of large-span spatial structures boom in our country. In such a background, it is necessary to research construction technology and construction control process of large-span spatial structures. On the basis of scientific and quantitative analysis, the construction process is ensured to be safe, reliable, economic and reasonable. Combining with three project cases of large span steel structures, different construction schemes and technologies are introduced, available for reference to similar projects. The main works and results are as follows.1. The construction scheme and technology of a hotel building with 36m-span steel truss roof(truss roof elevation 24.95m) is presented. Overall installation scheme is:firstly lifting the transverse truss, checking and welding, then installing the longitudinal truss, level support and second beam. Main lifting equipments are steel poles and their main tasks are to lift five 36 m-span transverse trusses. The metal pulled rods are auxiliary equipments to lift 9 m-span longitudinal trusses.2. The construction scheme and technology of a art building with 45m-span steel truss roof(truss roof elevation 29.57m and 39.66m respectively) is introduced. Installation scheme is:firstly, assembling the high platform, installing the sliding beam, and laying the rail. Secondly, lifting the longitudinal truss lifting and checking. Thirdly, installing the transverse truss and fixing. Fourthly, installing the roof support and the roof beam. Finally, sliding, eliminating stress and gradually unloading. Already assembled truss is lift to high platform by two 17150 type crawler cranes in the two ends. Two groups truss are assembled to a slip unit which gradually slides until to finish all truss sliding.3. The construction scheme and technology of a airport building with 60m-span steel grid roof(roof elevation 30m) is given out. Its installation scheme is:setting up the scaffold in local field to assemble high altitude, and then bulking with high altitude cantilever to install the rest on the basis of assembled grid. It is divided into five construction partitions and 114 installing units.
