With the advancement of photics,electronics and computer science,all kinds of advanced industrial measurement and data processing instrument have been developed enormously,the big three-dimensional shape measurements that based on optical principle with exact and digital demand have become increasing,and some of them that matured have been used in industrial production.But in the aircraft rigging field,we still need to make point on the plane,use conventional optical apparatuses and rulers.So called the precision measurement is the process of the parts of aircraft's relative position carry through test and adjustor,it acts an important role. The digital aircraft precision measurement has many advantages such as high automobile degree,low measurement error,repetitional,it is could enhance the accuracy of precision measurement consumedly.Objective:This paper's purpose is introducing laser measurement into aircraft rigging field,and combining with CATIA which universally used in aero industry to do data processing quikly and evaluate measure reslut.Methods:According to the needs of a certain type of aircraft's measurement,with the full process about digital precision measurement,this paper compared the traditional rigging and the digitized rigging, analyzed the error factors.Results and Conclusions:Based on the development of modern digital precision measurement technology, aimed at the needs and applications of the aircraft rigging technology, at first, this paper introduced the development situation of domestic and abroad , expounded the correlation theories and concepts of aircraft rigging technology, made certain the aircraft rigging method, it is includes traditional rigging and digitized rigging. On this basis, according to the 3-D shape measurement needs of a certain type of aircraft we carry through the actual measurement.And,the paper processed the data,realized the aircraft rigging.At last,according to comparing with several methods about rigging,this paper concluded that which is the proper direction about aircraft rigging.
