Evaluation Of Excavator Cab's Comfort

Comfort plays an increasingly important role in vehicle design. Today, comfortable well-designed interior is competitive in excavator market.The accurate evaluation of excavator cab comfort can offer objective dataes to the design and design adjusting. So it can help to improve excavator cab design level and narrow the gap between theory and fact, improve driving comfort,gain more competitive power for the products. Because currently there are few published literatures for excavator cab, researching for accurate evaluation of excavator cab is significant.With wide study of comfort evaluation in many fields, this paper analyzed driving comfort component factors, fatigue occurrence principle, furthermore, analyzed factors which infect excavator cab comfort from ergonomics and finally determined to evaluate excavator cab comfort from subjective and objective sides.Subjective evaluation is a commonly used method in comfort evaluation and usually investigates with questionnaire. This paper put forward main designing points for questionnaire content and format. In data processing, in order to restrain the disadvantages of subjectivity and individuality and obtain scientific and accurate conclusion, multistage fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was applied to data processing. In the objective evaluation, many test method were analyzed and compared and eye movement test were selected to have a practical test. In order to solve the difference between subjective evaluation and objective evaluation, subjective and objective comprehensive evaluation was put forward, then a product's final comfort evaluation conclusion can obtain. At the end, a real product was tested to be an example and verified the accuracy of our method foregoing.
