A Subjective And Objective Evaluation Of The Livable Environment Of Communities In Wuhan

With the continuous improvement of economy,people begin to pursue high quality life,and the requirements for the quality of living space are also getting higher and higher.Evaluation of community livability can not only help government understand the status of communities,guide the planning and construction work,but also can help residents to choose where to liveo In addition,with the smooth implementation of the first National Geographic census work of Wuhan,Wuhan national geographic database has been initially built,which provides the data base for the evaluation of the livability of Wuhan’s communities.Based on the first national census data,this paper has studied the basic grid division and the evaluation of community livability in the central city of Wuhan.Specific work and research are as follows:(1)Due to the difference of the division of grid,data cannot be shared between departments for a long time.This paper studies the theory of division of basic grid,puts forward the principles of basic grid,and divides basic grid of Wuhan,which can be the unit of analysis。(2)Through the study of city livability standard and existing community evaluation index system,combining the development characteristics of Wuhan and the national geographic data,the index system of evaluation of community livability has been established based on the basic grid,which contains 4 first-class indicators,10 second-class indicators and 24 third-class indicators.And we determined the evaluation criteria.(3)The subjective-and-objective evaluation model has been established,and the comprehensive weight of the indicators has been determined.This paper has also studied the livability of communities in Wuhan,and made thematic maps,which include community livable thematic map,community environment thematic map,community facilities thematic map,community and safety thematic map.(4)In view of the present situation of livable environment of communities in Wuhan,we put forward some suggestions on the construction and management of livable Wuhan,including transforming the functions of the government,promoting the integration of resources,and so on.
