Currently, energy issues become increasingly prominent,but consumer's desire of spending on cars is becoming increasingly, so the development of saving energy and reducing emission car model is imperative. Weak hybrid car structure is sample and lower cost, saving 10% to 15% fuel compared to ordinary cars,so become the most admired solution.This thesis describes the performance advantages,development status and trends at home and abroad of weak hybrid vehicle first, analyse of the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy deeply, built simulation model in the MATLAB/Simulink environment and analyse a variety of motor operation. Then designing the main and auxiliary circuit, it included microcontroller systems, power conversion module, signal detection circuit, driver circuit, excitation circuit and CAN communication circuits, etc. Using SVPWM algorithm as the core control strategy to write program, testing and optimizing repeatedly. Finally, taking experiment of the motor drive control system, and improving the control strategy.Hybrid excitation synchronous machine was selected as the control object, making the system not only easy to adjust the excitation, but also having higher the torque / weight ratio. The program with over modulation algorithm improved the utilization of DC voltage greatly. The motor control system has excellent torque response and accurate speed control characteristic, achieves the desired design features and running well.
