CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) is the ideal vehicle transmission mode of transmission and also is the future direction of its development. Transmission characteristics of the kinematics and dynamics related to the transmission system and even the vehicle itself and its performance. This article based on a Gear CVT device makes an analysis and calculation of gear drive system design. The device includes the main planetary gear group and speed comparison framework. According to the feedback speed provided by speed comparison framework, the main planetary gear set real-time the dynamic transmission speed to power output shaft, so as to achieve the purpose of CVT.Transmission based on its future development trend, the article conducts the simulation research on Gear CVT device, and the main contents are as follows:1. Elaborating the present situation of domestic and foreign about CVT's development and research, proposing the article's research goal and the significance about CVT.2. Analyzing the Gear CVT's structure and the principle of its working and designing calculation. Utilizing the formidable parameterization modeling function of 3Dsoftware Pro/E, completed the modeling work of the Gear CVT device's 3D model.3. Establishing Gear CVT's dynamic equation and model based on gear dynamic theory, proving this equipment's feasibility.4. Inducting the entire device's 3D model to ADAMS by using the interfacing software MECHANISM/Pro of Pro/E and dynamics analysis software ADAMS and increasing the corresponding restraint and the actuation, carrying on the dynamics simulation analysis to the gear mesh contact force.5. Carrying on modal analysis to the gears of the transmission system by using software ANSYS, and finishing rigid and flex coupling simulation analysis combined with ADMAS.
