High-power marine gas turbine has been the trends of marine power plant now. On the basis of existing three-axis gas turbine, The relatively simple system reform can contribute to shortening development cycle, decreasing development expenses and also enhancing the overall performance of the engine. After be intercooled modified, the performance changes of gas turbine is researched in the paper so as to provide effective technical support for the design and development of high-power intercooled gas turbine cooling cycles.Carried out on the thermal design of intercooler, and on the basis of genetic algorithm to optimize its structure size, to minimum quality in the premise of meeting the heat transfer performance, pressure drop. On the basis of genetic algorithm to optimize the design point parameters of intercooled gas turbine. Used the Middle-characteristic of feature-stage to calculate low-pressure compressor characteristics, and used partial least squares to fit the high and low pressure compressor characteristic curves.Based on modular modeling idea, the components mathematical models of intercooled gas turbine was established. The components and overall simulation model of were built on intercooled gas turbine in MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation platform. The steady-state simulation was carried out. When the intercooler is in the work of conversion, the dynamic response characteristic of intercooled gas turbine driving Marine Generator or fixed pitch propeller was researched. Preliminary study the Mathematical model of compressor bleed, design control mode of bleed and research the simulation of bleed process in load rejection.Through the simulation, specific power of the intercooled gas turbine has been significantly improved to simple cycle gas turbine, and a slight increase efficiency. The intercooler outlet temperature is relatively stable with the import parameters. Gas turbine can only work in the low conditions when the intercooler is in the work of conversion, and its power will increase when the intercooler converted not work from work, and vice versa decreases. The speed overshoot of power turbine decreases with the gas emission increases in load rejection.
