Before the ejection of aircraft, the jet exhaust gases with high-speed, high-temperature and high-pressure, which will make great influence on the surrounding equipment, personals, and even have a great impact on the other following aircraft that is about to take off. Therefore, the blast deflector is used to drive these exhaust gases outboard and upward, which is to be an essential equipment for the sake of protection. With its unique hydraulic cooling system, the blast deflector can rise up and down in a comparatively short time, and accordingly, the efficiency of aircraft's taking off and landing is greatly improved. In the paper, a physical model is established based on a certain aircraft engine's primary parameters, and different two-dimension, three-dimension simulations are computerized by CFD software to research the differences of temperature, pressure, velocity of jet flow field under the aircraft's full reheating condition. By comparison of the different distances between the deflector and the jet, and different angles between the deck and the deflector, the most appropriate distance and angle can be determined. Meanwhile, the safe area of aircraft's ejection can also be determined according to the simulation results. What's more, taking into account the number of different engines and the reciprocal influence of the double engine model in the jet flow field, different simulations of single engine models and double engine models are made respectively. From the perspective of safety, many relevant major factors that affecting the blast deflector system have been taken into account. By the reference of AHP, MATLAB is used to program, which not only helps to decide the importance of these factors, but also makes the optimum choice among different blast deflectors.
