From world urban rail transit development situation, rail transport with speed, snug, on time and comfortable wait for an advantage, already became the various countries' big cities of transportation people major choices. Construction of rail transportation, not only alleviate the city faces serious bumper-to-bumper traffic pressure, and led the surrounding area land exploitation. For rail transport hub station with the construction of urban design problem associated also received high attention, especially subway stations. Overall, important subway stations usually also is the main node city public space. With China's urbanization process faster and faster, prompted Chinese subway rapid development, the subway and the city has close relationship. Subway stations as city developing new elements, for promoting the development of urban space to play a key role. How to pass comprehensive designing, subway stations, cause a series of urban public space economic and social effect, be this paper point of research. From the Angle of urban design, focus on the construction of public space, for subway stations related research, based on the summary of related theory, combining the survey and analysis of actual metro project is obtained with a public space station, comprehensive development guidelines, for your reference. This paper had five parts: Part 1, On the research background, purpose, method and significance was introduced. Part 2, Through understanding the urban transportation node to the background, Urban transport system and the relationship between urban form, And analyzes the influence of urban form traffic tools. Part 3, Based on the orbit transportation node public space analysis, expounds the integration of urban space with the ground, combining spatial land utilization significance, and discussed the rail transit transfer mode. Part 4, Through to the subway site design relevant theoretical research, discussed the subway stations, public space comprehensive design, proposed subway station and public space comprehensive development, guide, and several example analyzed at home and abroad. Part 5, Two important with Changsha subway stations: 51 Square, Changsha Railway Station as an example, and Analysis.
