But, at home and abroad,soft start devices have big volume, structure is complex, installation inconvenience, the equipment maintenance quantity is bigger, price expensive, not powerful enough to satisfy many users. Based on the soft starter turnover gear train with high transmission efficiency, small heat productivity, reliable work, long service life, machinery and control system is simple, maintenance costs low and other characteristics. For soft starter technology research has certain significance.This paper firstly analyzes the development status of soft starter, and expounds soft starter has the advantages. Secondly, introduces the soft start-up device based on turnover was the main component, including turnover gear train,speed motor two parts. The mechanical transmission equipment comprises control system and transmission system, belt conveyor of three parts. Then, turnover was introduced based on the working principle of soft starter, through the speed motor rotor speed to change change within the gear ring cycle gear train speed, in order to realize the soft starter of belt conveyor. Finally, on the analysis of the belt conveyor based on the working process, turnover was based on the control system of soft starter were studied, to control the system hardware and software design. Through the programmable controller in frequency converter output frequency control, to achieve the rotor speed motor speed control. With the main motor speed motor speed by differential planetary gear train speed synthesis, can make the transmission system in a broad range of stepless speed regulation, to achieve the controllable start of belt conveyor.
