In recent years, China's carbon emissions has been more increased dramatically, including building energy consumption is an important part. Therefore, as to take responsibility to educate the public library, should be low-carbon emission reduction advocates and educators.Global long-term environmental protection point of view, the low-carbon energy-saving design concept from the technical aspects of the library was extended to interior design and cultural aspects of sustainable development, the future trends. Through scientific design, the correct handling of environmental design library and cultural, technological, economic, social and other contradictions in the relationship, and established the design concept of low-carbon position and role, the most efficient use of energy, with minimum impact on the environment.This article first analyses the typical library indoor environment of low carbon technology usage, and summarized; on the basis of Jiujiang University library research, analyzes on the perception of the indoor environment of Library readers;last attempts to materials, landscaping and lighting and ventilation in a bid to make the concept of carbon throughout the Jiujiang University Shaw Library throughout the design process, to promote low-carbon design concept in interior design application, until to obtain good results.
