On Interior Elastic Design Of Library

There are some problems existing in the interior space design of modern library such as inflexibility and simplification of design concept,causing that the design results all present invariable space form just as model.These designs are only based on the user's current activities,the formed space can not adapt to the changes of the space function and the user's changing use ways.Therefore,based on the interior space design of library,this paper put the concept of flexible design,aiming to make the library space flexible,enhance the adaptability of space,and also improve the utilization of space.The application research on the elastic design on interior space mainly concentrates on the residential space.Based on the library interior space,this study is a new attempt and exploration,and also the promotion of the application research of elastic design on interior space..This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the concept related to flexible design,studies development background and current situation of the concept of flexible design.Then,it overviews the development process of the western theory of flexible design and the elastic design thought contained in the Chinese traditional architecture and its present development situation.Through analyzing meaning,contents,methods and innovations,this paper puts forward the necessity of introducing the concept of flexible design into the interior design of modern library.In the second chapter,through literature and case analysis,it analyzes the characteristics of elastic design,the functional properties of elastic space and the supporting elements of elastic design so as to explore the feasibility of the application of flexible design concept in library space.By combining case,the third chapter carries out analysis on the requirement of flexible design of the interior space of the library and the pattern of the spatial design of the flexible library,and then summarizes the basic principles and strategies of the interior elastic design of the library.In the fourth chapter,it mainly present a elaborate illustration of interior design practice on the library of Xiamen Academy of Arts and Design.Through field investigation and questionnaire,it fully considers the needs of users and reality,explains from the two aspects,that are space flexibility and furniture flexibility,and then apply the concept of flexible design into library space.The application of flexible design concept in library space contribute to the promotion and perfection of the development of elastic design in indoor space,which has also explored a new direction of development for the interior design of the teaching space.At the same time,it will provide a new way of thinking for the later design of the small area.For example,it has a certain reference value for primary school reading room,library,reading room and other rural community.With the development of society,the progress of science and technology,and the changing and developing research of flexible design,flexible design of library space is based on the spatial dimension and add the "time" factor,it is our practice topic that how people integrate the "time"factor into different functional space of library with time going by.
