Hub substation 220kV substation in particular, for the safety and economic operation of power grid has a very important role, it bears re-distribution of power and power conversion task is an important power system can not be the missing link. At present most of our substation in the first and second devices due to prolonged use, there is insulation aging, action lag and other issues, of which some devices are not suitable for use in modern substation on. Moreover, with the power load increases, the substation primary and secondary transformation of the equipment is very important. Shengli Oilfield Shengli Power exploration and development along with 50 years of development, as a framework built to 220kV, 110kV main network, 35kV over Dongying, Binzhou, Zibo of the oil region of large enterprise network. But most of the power facilities are run with the increased number of years, there has been a serious problem of aging equipment, especially computer protection device, part of the substation using electromagnetic relay, the urgent need for equipment replacement.In this paper, salt, Shengli Oilfield 220kV substation for the town of reconstruction projects to protect the actual computer case, first a brief introduction of the Shengli Oil Field and the 220kV grid substation salt status of the town, and then focuses on the salt town of substation protection for computer programs and the transformation of the selected main content and the process of retrofitting the problems and their solutions were analyzed and discussed.First through the integrated automation system for domestic reform program of simple, compared to the interval-oriented, object-oriented design of the hierarchical distributed architecture model and quite new technology, digital substation, the substation according to the actual situation and investment returns, etc., of substations the transformation of microprocessor-based protection configuration mode and should be analyzed to determine the main features, and ultimately decided to adopt a hierarchical distributed architecture model transformation of microprocessor-based protection model.
