As advanced methods, SVG is playing more and more important role in daily life and industrial production. There are many advantages, such as improving quality of electric energy, reducting the capacity of the equipment, saving the expenses and so on.Fist, the article introduces the research background and present situation, comparises the differences of various devices, build the mathematical model based on switch function and duty ratio. Then I research the method of testing of the reactive power. By Comparing of the differences of two control methods, we select to use the instantaneous reactive power theory based on triangular wave direct current control method. With the ARM processor, I explain the principle of selecting the capacitance and inductance, and then design the control circuit and softeare.Finally, the simulation software MATLAB7.8 build simulation model, by detailing simulation analysis, the simulation results verify that the whole system structure, current detection, control strategy and parameter calculation method are correct and feasible. In addition, different switching frequencies of inverter output waveforms do a comparative analysis.
