Induction heating power supply is using the principle of electromagnetic induction heating, in order to achieve the rapid and effective heating effect. Currently, heating power supply is used mostly in industry. In civil aspects, the induction cooker is the common induction heating. In this paper, induction heating is used for plumbing heating system, in order to achieve rapid hotter, energy conservation and environmental protection effect.This paper firstly analyzed the way of realized induction heating, compared the advantages and disadvantages of the series resonant inverter structure and the parallel resonant inverter. Introduced the power control mode, finally chose the scheme of series resonant inverter circuits and Phase-shift Power modulation.The system is analyzed by being divided into hardware part and software part.the hardware part includes frequency tracking. Phase-shift Power modulation, signal acquisition, keyboard-screen, auxiliary power supply and so on. The software program part includes AD transform, SPI, EEPROM, PWM, keyboard-screen and so on. The article briefly introduced part of the chip that used in the circuit, and mainly analyzed the principle and circuit design of frequency tracking circuit and Phase-shift Power modulation.According to the system's theory analysis and design, the paper designs a prototype of 5.5kW/20kHz for the plumbing induction heating system.This prototype through the system commissioning, the result shows that the system is feasible, reliable and stable.
