With the high-frequency induction heating power supply in metal heat treatment industry wide application, the load carried by power makes more and more complex. In order to make induction heating power supply output rated power stably, thereby increasing efficiency, This paper presents a variety of power regulation technology to solve the load matching problem. After detailed comparative analysis, obtains that the pulse width phase shifting control technology is at present the quite suitable technology. Therefore, this paper focuses on working principle and characteristics of the PWM-PS technology. The paper analyzes the relationship between the losses of power devices and phase shifting angle theoretically, and provides a basis for the value of phase shifting angle. Finaly by means of MATLAB simulation and experiment, the conclusion is provided reasonably.
