A Study On Closed Community Environment And Residents' Satisfaction Of Hangzhou West Area

Nowadays, the rapid growth of Chinese real estate industry is amazing. Residential area construction is in full swing all around the country. Large numbers of gated communities gather together may cause some social problems. This in-depth study of residential area is of positive significance to healthy development of the residential area, sustainable urban development and improving residents' quality of life.Based on a comprehensively analyzing archives and documents, this thesis summarizes the status in quo that academia study on satisfaction of living. Choose the west area of Hangzhou as an example, this thesis analysis the characteristics of complicate residential area through site investigation, and analysis the living satisfaction of residents through questionnaire. Data from the questionnaire is analyzed by SPSS. At last, suggestions, which can guide the planning of urban residential area, and integration planning model between public facilities and living spaces are given.
