Research On Urban-Oriented System Based On City Image

With the scale and construction converted, the urban space becomes much more complex. The growth city even makes the local citizens feeling strange with their living environment. The people keep searching in the city and the surface of their living area become more brilliant than ever before. However, the city still becomes a doubts and suspicions which is called "black box". The question is how we could conduct and understand the huge "black box" city? The answer is the URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM. The direct "space operator interface" in this system provide the visual information which can help people "operate" and "use" the space.In this article, through the discussing of the urban growth in the globalization and the people requirement changed, the development of URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM design will be analyzed and referred. After that, the major problem of URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM in China will be involved, which contains the inhomogeneous density of the information,the contradiction of information,the low degree of the information quality,destroying land space,confused setting,less consideration about the disabled,lacking humanity and local design and too much visual information.Based on the questions above, this article will explain the importance of the city's image and Intentionality. And then, all of this will be discussed according to the realistic and theory. Firstly, through the comprehensive description about the recent development of the URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM and case study, the summary about the standard,factor and principle of URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM will be described. Additionally, the "city image" principle will be introduced into the oriented system design and creating oriented system based on city image will be proposed. It means that URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM is considered as a path —way for city space repairing method. Then discuss how to design URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM more efficiency,environmental friendly in the city space and how to extern the utility period of URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM in the city space.Thirdly, every city has their own special amazing. The present of city is not only created on the constructions and environment, but also make the citizen touched and loving. Therefore, the city type will be present through the URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM. The design will be both emphasized the appropriate the recent rhythm and present the history and background of the city.Finally, in the visual direction of design environment, I hope to be able to use more expression way of the senses to design, so I have done some research about that. Summarize the performance of the multisensory method, make its practical and realistic significance.In the end of the article, I do the field research about the city image in the ancient district of Xi'an. On the one hand, put forward how to plan orientation system set up, on the other hand to point out the image of the city on behalf of design elements, and used them in oriented system design.Based on the knowledge of assembly, finishing and understanding, summarize and put forward some opinions. URBAN-ORIENTED SYSTEM is a indispensable city function, that people can be walk free in the imperfect city by design.
