Hybrid electric vehicle should be the main flow of automobile industry in the future and have a bright prospects. At present, the research of hybrid technologies in the field of light commercial vehicle are very few, so it is very important to study the key technologies of this kind of vehicle. Depending on the 4×2 diesel-electric project for Nanjing IVECO which is shouldered by SAIC Commercial Vehicle Technology Center (Nanjing Automotive Engineering Research Institute), the thesis is about the diesel-electric hybrid light commercial vehicle power system design and the control system research. The main contents are follows:Firstly, this paper describes the categories, development status and control strategies of the hybrid vehicles by reading lots of academic literatures, and explains the project sources, research significance, main contents. Then, double-clutch single-axle parallel hybrid drivetrain is selected as the drive system of the diesel-electric light commercial vehicle according to the market needs, existing technology accumulation and so on. After that, the parameters of the key components are computed and matched by the analysis of the system.Secondly, the control strategy is designed, and its design philosophy, working principle, control logic are described detailed. For realizing the rational heat distribution and utilization to get better fuel economy, baseline energy management strategy and fuzzy logic energy management strategy are respectively carried out for its structure. The simulation model is established by the platform of software AVL/Cruise and Matlab/Sumilink. Two operation modes are simulated following co-simulation method, under two control, respectively. The simulation results show that two control strategy both are reasonable and superior.Thirdly, the baseline control system is developed. Taking the diesel-electric hybrid commercial vehicle as the research object, the configuration of the CAN-based control network and the development approach of the vehicle control unit are introduced. After that, the ansysis of the vehicle control unit is completed, which is based on chip MC9S12XDT256.Finally, rapid control prototype is created to test the performance of control strategy. The test results show that the performance of baseline control strategy meets the design requirements, the fuel consumption is reduced compared with that of the conventional vehicle. The results are proved that the results of the test are consistent with the simulation's results.
