More attention has been paid to the development and research of the renewable energy, due to its high percent conversion of energy and little pollution. As one of renewable energy, wind power generation develops rapidly with the advantage of huge volume, regeneration, wide distribution and no-pollution.Wind energy centralizes in the north, northwestern and east part in our country, including southeastern seaboard and islands. This research takes the example of the typical wind power stations in Penglai, Shandong province. By analyzing the result of measuring wind, the feasibility of this project can be worked out the feasibility of this project. Moreover, in order to analyze and offer advice to the environmental influence the project might cause, it also put forward some tentative plans, including choosing place for the project in micro view and choosing and setting wind turbine.This thesis intends to solve the problems of wind resources evaluation. With the means, such as choosing meteorological station for reference and verification and setting up wind measurement mast to collect figures, the representative data of wind in a certain year in wind power station are collected. Basing on the means of wind resources evaluation in wind power station (GB/T18710-2002), the wind resources evaluation was conducted. It contained the preliminary calculation and analysis of air density, wind shear exponent, turbulence intensity, Weibull distribution etc. and the final obtainment of representative data of wind speed in wind tower and wind power density. The comprehensive evaluation suggests that this wind power station, with wind power density of nearly grade 3 and great many wind resources, is available for grid-connected wind turbine. To draw a conclusion, the project is feasible.In terms of how to select fans, the contrast method is adopted. Considering control mode, working mode, generator type, drive mode etc. this thesis compares one fan type's technical parameter with that of others. Eventually, a type of fan with advanced technology and mature application is selected. Because of its remarkable economic value and social benefits, it can be widely popularized in practice.
