| With the continuous popularization of IEC61850 standard, the matching intelligent primary devices (such as electronic mutual inductor, intelligent circuit breaker) and network secondary equipment products gradually become mature and digital substation has switched from theoretical research phase to engineering practice phase.Compared to conventional substation, digital substation has advantages such as unified device communication standards, high precision and safe photoelectric transformer, and simple secondary circuit and becomes a direction of integrated automation transformation of conventional RTU substations. Though digital substation has many advantages in comparison to conventional substation, power grid companies are still accumulating experience of substation digital transformation and operation and the reliability and stability of digital equipment from various manufacturers are still under evaluation during operation. Thus, the digital transformation of substations carried out in various regions is only in the pilot stage.Against such a backdrop, this paper introduces key technology and equipment of digital substation on the basis of the digital transformation project of Shenzhen 110kV Wucun Substation, summarizes lessons learnt from the digital transformation and daily operation and maintenance practices, analyzes problems and difficulties encountered during the processes and evaluates the performance of Wucun digital substation after transformation. On this basis, this paper further analyzes the appropriateness of existing RTU substation transformation in Shenzhen according to the digital transformation direction and puts forward achievable suggestions for transformation. |
