Research On New Type Multi-purpose Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder

Vehicle traveling data recorder is the vehicle speed, time, mileage and other information in the process of moving some of the state vehicle data recording, storage and output of data through the interface electronic recording device. Vehicle traveling data recorder for analysis of accident causes and identification of the responsible role to play great help. Therefore, vehicle traveling data recorder of the development and application has become the focus of the industry.In this paper, the vehicle traveling data recorder completed the fingerprint identification, speeding alarm, security alarm, display the print function, LCD display, GPS functionality, such as collision warning and GMS monitoring features of the design and production. The system chosen for LPC2119 ARM chip as the central processing chip, collected from various quarters switch signal and the analog signal through the LPC2119 ADC brought itself into a digital signal, then the LPC2119 analyze data stored in the NOR-type flash memory SST39VF1601 store and through the LCD display, and can be remotely monitored through the GSM module. Each functional module and the main chip to communicate between the CAN bus and signal transmission. This paper describes the vehicle traveling data recorder system, the hardware and software system design principles and implementation roadmap.
