Research Based The Health Industrial Design Concept Of Household Water Way

Healthy Industrial Design (HID) is one of the world's design trends. This concept is based on the using principle of the body's natural movement and achieves human health campaign with pursuit of "healthy, happy and fun". This paper starts from the view of household water use and carries out research and analysis centering on behavior of domestic water and household faucets with the theoretical study on HID. The purpose of this paper is to propose, on the above basis, a more reasonable and healthy behavior process of modern domestic water and ultimately reflect on the design of health faucets. This research mainly includes four sections:The first section is in-depth research of the origin, development and design concept of "Healthy Industrial Design (HID)" and summary of the design methods for the follow-up study and the evaluation criteria. The second section is research of family health water use and water-use behavior. The main object of study is family kitchen and bathroom where the research is conducted respectively in. Water elements affecting human health, purposes of water use and corresponding water-use behavior is studied according to the design methods of HID. For the conclusion based on this study of the water-use behavior which is suitable for modern family, more reasonable and healthy, this section mainly adopts observation and questionnaire survey method. The third section is health faucet research based on health water-use behavior. According to the results of the two sections above and research summary of existing faucet market, characteristic elements in function, shape, color, materials and etc. of faucets which meet the design standards of HID are proposed respectively for household kitchen and bathroom. The fourth section is the practical part of design. The specific design activities follow each characteristic element of the third section and after the improvement of the program are evaluated and considered with the HID evaluation criterion integrated from the first section.HID is one of the world's design trends. It have developed many design practices and successful cases in foreign countries but still in the learning and trial stage in the domestic. It is hoped that through the exposition and practice in this paper this design concept could be further explored and verified and the good design methods and evaluation system of it could be carried forward.
