In modern warfare and anti-terrorism military peacekeeping operations, the use of body armor for officers to be effective in reducing gunshot injuries caused by penetrating. Although the bullet was blocked armor, but armor shot instant high-speed impact the human body due to deformation, resulting in energy transfer, resulting in blunt trauma of chest and abdomen target organ. In the case this protective layer of body armor are not penetrated or break, the impact of the projectile kinetic energy acting on the human body through the protective layer called behind armor blunt trauma the armor damage after blunt injury. Biomechanics of such trauma are not yet in a clear set, also in the treatment of difficult to deal with, it is necessary for the corresponding mechanical response characteristics of the human body.This paper studies foundation of the rifle bullet, composite body armor and model of the human target, and according to their structural characteristics established finite element model. The model, from the actual use conditions, was designed to fit the contour of human torso body surface. The body target model comprises organs system (heart, lungs, liver and stomach), skeleton system (sternum, cartilage, ribs and spine) and epidermal muscle. And in accordance with the physical characteristics of rifle bullet, composite armor under high-speed collision and the mechanical properties of the human target is hit in circumstances, each appropriate material model is choose.In this paper, the finite element model built on the rifle bullet penetration process of composite armor penetration and rifle wearing protective body-targeting complex process of a simulation. The phenomenon and the results of penetrating body armor alone were analyzed, and comparison with experiment to verify the validity of the model. It is demonstrated that the accuracy of results of the rifle bullet has penetrated body target wear a composite protective, and the data of major parts were analyzed, acquire stress and pressure fields in the evolution of propagation of blunt trauma behind the body target.
