With the development of the measurement and control technology of the aircraft, the method on measurement and control technology of the aircraft becomes more important, therefore, the test system which is performance excellent, detection accuracy and high efficiency, it is need designed, in the field of aviation, aerospace and weapons. For the problem about failing to obtain the aircraft flight path in the laboratory in real time, this paper studies the inertial navigation algorithm, and designs the hardware in the loop simulation platform, and then tests the performance of the aircraft rudder.In this paper, the hardware in the loop simulation mathematical model of the aircraft is established and the hardware in the loop simulation platform is designed based on studying strapdown inertial navigation algorithm. Aircraft is installed in the corner platform, using the swivel platform to change pitch angle, yaw angle and roll angle of the aircraft, the attitude change of aircraft is measured by the navigator, the collected data is transmited to the PC software and the track is showed. In no actual flight process conditions, simulation mathematical model is used to calculate the actual flight path, and further works out the flight attitude. The flight attitude information is sent to the computer controlled and guided, the computer controls the swing of the rudder. Finally, the aircraft is able to fly in accordance with the default track. By studying on the frequency characteristics of the aircraft rudder, and servo rudder detection circuit is designed, a method of linear pulse sweep is applied in testing frequency of the rudder to obtain the frequency characteristic curve. The curve can appear truly the dynamic performance and stability of the steering gear system in order to improve the performance of the aircraft. The PC software of the aircraft test system is designed, including data simulation of the navigation, data traffic, frequency characteristics test of the rudder, data show etc.By experimenting on hardware-in-loop simulation platform of the aircraft, we can get the testing data by using the PC software of the aircraft testing system. According to the testing data, the aircraft rudder system is improved, which meets the needs of experiment, and the problem on failing to obtain the aircraft flight path can be solved, which has played an important help and guidance in the research on aircraft control system.
