The Research Of The Urban Street Transformation Base On The Consciousness Experience

Street is the framework of the city; it is the guarantee of the city's normal development. Street is the carrier of the society culture, at the same time it is the most impressed urban space. But after the20th century, with the development of the motorized transportation, there are many changes is the urban street spaces. Traditional urban street spaces are replaced by the rapid transit system, so the scale of the street become bigger and bigger. As the fast increase of the car, there are many adverse effects:the traffic congestion and the deterioration of public space environment. The trend of globalization makes the street landscape all look similar. The design and the build of street Ignores the principle of people-centered lead all of these problems. They did not pay attention to the street viewer-people. Therefore from the perspective of the environmental perception the thesis makes a study of the street space transformation in Dalian in order to find out the drawback of the street construction in our country. Through the study of the successful historical street in Dalian built during the Japanese and the Russian occupation, the article summarizes some design methods to create the street spaces that can give people rich experiences. These design methods will be helpful to the planning and the design of the urban street in our country.The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction of the background, the purpose and the method of the article. The second chapter is the explanation of the concept of urban street and environmental perception. The third chapter introduces the history of the city's development of Dalian. In this part, the author summarizes three representative historical periods and chooses three streets to study. The fourth chapter is the beginning of the main parts in the article. It studies the figure and ground formation of the street from three levels:street control interface, the density of the path connection, street spatial sequence the article summarizes the features of the street spaces development in two-dimensional. The fifth chapter's research priority is the combinations of building interface of street spaces. It studies the street's the first contour and the facade composition, summarizes the law of the evolution in the street facade diversity. The sixth chapter studies the scale of the urban street spaces. From the section in two-dimensional and the perceived degree in three-dimensional two aspects, the article studies the continuity of the street. At last, the article summarizes the urban design methods in rich street experience.
