Since the beginning of the 21 st century,China’s urbanization process has rapidly accelerated, and the total number of residents’ travel has increased year by year. The resulting urban congestion has become the most serious problem facing cities;China’s motor vehicle ownership is below the world average However, the level of congestion is at the forefront. The unreasonable road network structure and travel mode in the city have caused residents to rely more on motor vehicles, and residents have to choose to travel by car.Various developed countries in Europe and the United States have successively carried out research and practice on urban walkability. At present, relatively rich research and practical results have been formed. However, due to the limitation of the level of urbanization development, relevant research in China has just started, and in recent years With the proposal of the city’s dual-repair policy, urban construction has entered a new stage of quality improvement and it is urgent to get rid of motor vehicle dependence and build a walk-friendly city.At present, many scholars have carried out research related to urban walkability, which is affected by the lack of urban data and technical barriers. These studies have mainly focused on the establishment and qualitative evaluation of urban walkability evaluation indicators. The rise of the data industry makes it possible to scientifically and objectively quantify the evaluation of urban walkability. As an important place for walking behavior, this study takes urban streets as the main body of space, based on urban multi-source data, combined with cloud computing, image semantic recognition, road network analysis and other means, the spatial elements that affect residents’ walking are divided into spatial network and space The two branches of the interface propose a cognitive model of "dynamic flow" and "static frame" of urban streets.By setting the connectivity of the spatial structure, the connectivity of the transportation mode, the intensiveness of the functional facilities, the safety of the street space,The five indicators of the comfort of the street environment have developed the arrival index, the intermediary index, the public transport connection coefficient, the functional facility service coefficient, the street motorization index, the pedestrian facility index, the green visibility rate, the horizon sky openness, and the closed interface The nine measurement parameters of the index decompose the factors that affect the walking behavior in urban streets, quantify the measurement of a single parameter, and use the analytic hierarchy process to weight each single measurement parameter according to the degree of contribution to walking suitability. The final weighting is used to obtain the final result of urban street walkability. The study constructs a quantitative evaluation method of urban street walkability based on Chinese urban problems.Based on this method, this study used Nanjing as a case to measure the walkability of the streets in the main urban area of Nanjing. At the same time, combined with the method of urban heat map verification, the spatial verification of the measurement results was carried out.The walkability results obtained by the measurement method have a strong correlation with the actual residents’ activity in the city, which shows the accuracy of the measurement method in characterizing the walkability of the city.At the same time, combined with the measurement results, the spatial distribution of pedestrian suitability in the main urban area is interpreted, and typical street cases with good and poor pedestrian suitability in the city are selected, and the factors that affect street space pedestrian suitability are discussed. The whole thesis contains about 46103 words,108 pictures and charts. |
