With China's rapid economic development, the Binhai New Area in Tianjin is gradually developed into an important grain and oil industry gathering zone. As the biggest comprehensive port in north China, port of Tianjin ought to promote strategic level and strive to develop international logistics industry by taking advantages of its resource, it should form a multi-level, open, highly effective and convenient logistics system and attempt to be a international commodity trading center and circulation transshipment hub by way of accelerating industrial upgrade and internationalization process.Based on the modern port logistics and grain logistics basic theory, this paper firstly overviews the current condition of China's port grain logistics, focus on the analysis of Tianjin port's whole logistics and grain logistics, then discusses such specific grain logistics problems as grain throughput, supply and demand in the market, stevedoring and facilities, transportation, port productive technology. By using combination forecast of Time decomposition sequence method and Exponential smoothing, we forecast the trend of throughput in next few years by using port grain throughput data of nearly10years. Considering factors such as external environment and internal capacity, we conduct SWOT analysis as to its grain logistics development. After analyzing the grain logistics development necessity and we put forward the development strategy of the Tianjin grain logistics. Research of Tianjin port's grain logistics development can promote to realize Tianjin port change to international grain logistics service supplier and become international shipping center, international trade center and world first-class port in north China.
