The exactly measurements of ultrasonic parameters can provide enoughreference for ultrasound used in diagnostic, NDT and so on fields. At present, the main measurement method is based on hydrophone. In this paper, theresearch about hydrophone calibration and ultrasound space3D-scanningsystem are finished. Then the experiment of NDT transducer characteristicparameters is done. The main work is as follows:1. During calibration of hydrophone, analyzed and researched thediffraction and average affect factors and measurement environment influence. The experiments about transducer's effective diameter, reciprocity and watermedium's influence are done. Compare the Fay's experimental data and theorysimulation results forGcfactor. The deviation between credentials values andtest values is bigger and bigger at the frequency from0.5MHz to15MHz.After the research results are used, the test values and credentials values are fit well at the frequency from0.5MHz to15MHz.2. Finished the3D-auto-scanning measurement system for ultrasound filed.Visualizing and measurement of ultrasonic field of a planar piston transducerare done, and the results can directly show the characteristic and someparameters of the fields.3. Measurement of acoustic pressure distribution characteristic in ultrasoundfield and parameters of non-destruction testing transducer are finished usingthe space-scanning system built already. Based on pulse-echo method, due tothe finite measurement receive bandwidth and spatial average of small ballreflection method, using hydrophone replaced. Another, the3D-scanningsystem and the visualization make the test results more directly and operabilitymore accurate.
