Nowadays, growing energy consumption in the increasingly serious environmental pollution forces pelple to consider new and renewable sources of energy development and utilization. Wind power is being paid great attention by more and more countries because of its outstanding ad vantages. The wind power generation technology also becomes research hotspot of many countries'scholars. With the widely use of wind power in the world, in order to reduce wind power costs, increase efficiency, the capacity of wind power equipment per unit has been increased. In the same time, more research topics have been required for the design and manufacture of wind turbine, design and operation of control system. Traditional physical testing research methods can't meet the needs of development, simulation technology, because of its unlimited character by weather conditions and its low costs, has been gradually applyed in the field of wind turbine research and tests. The widely use of simulation technology in the design, tests and operation analysis of wind power generation equipment will help to speed up the pace of development of wind power technology of our country and short the technology gap with developed countries. This paper establishes the models of wind turbine,AC-excited generator and its vector control system. To improve the efficiency of power generation, the maximum wind energy tracing control method is adapted while the wind turbine is operated below the rated wind speed.Stator flux-oriented vector control enables the independent decoupling control of active power and reactive power. Various parts of the simulation model are established under the environment of Virtual instrument LabVIEW, carrying out a simulation study of wind turbine power generator system. Simulation experiments carried out by referencing the maximum output power as the stator active power output validates the rationality of the models.
