| With the expansion of power system, the importance of power scheduling has become more prominent, and the dispatchers need to monitor more equipment than before. The traditional dispatch automation system based on digital information can not proficiently manage numerous data, and unable to reveal the internal relationship and distributing patterns of data. The corresponding result is to lead dispatchers can not find some key data that indicate grid and accident risks out of numerous data. So it becomes the realistic question to lighten dispatchers working intensity and improve the working efficiency by showing the massive data more properly during the running state and rapidly increase the interaction performance.The visualization technology which develops rapidly in recent years as a new technology can convert the data to the graphics or images showed on the screen by using the computer graphics technology. So it's application for the online supervisory and analysis system of power grid has great theoretical significance and application value. The paper firstly studies the application of visualization in dispatch automation of power system in depth based on the basic theory of visualization, interaction, drawing in computer graphic. Subsequently, the general design, the hardware structure, the software structure and the conceptual design of the visual dispatch system of Beijing power grid are elaborated. At last, the application and implementation effect of the proposed visual dispatch system in Beijing power grid is summarized. |
