Modern world with the introduction of the competition into power transactions and the increase of the interconnection between regional power systems, the power system operation and control have been more complicated than never before. All right visualization technique of electricity power grid can display amount of virtue graphs, images and pictures to help power technicians to analyze complex data and offer them intuitionist operation platform. As we were known the development of electricity power system is must to satisfy the demand of electricity power load, the larger average electricity power load density the area has the more solid the electricity power grid will be. The visualization of electricity power load is propitious to realize the information of large scale area and power load forecast.The traditional bitmap format in these advanced applications could not be shared and reused even within the same control area. With the development of network technology, a new technique called Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) was invented for the purpose of providing a new way to organize the graphic information so as to be easily shared and modified through the webs. This paper mainly discusses how to actualize the visualization of electricity power load and line load ratio on the dynamic or GIS-based diagram, and how to actualize their real-time dynamic update.The application of SVG technique in the visualization of electricity power system would be feasible and effective, visualization of electricity power system based on SVG will go deep in practical application.
